The main functions of the Vice Rector for International Relations are the following:
- Relations, collaboration and agreements with other universities, institutions and organizations, at international level.
- International exchange programmes.
- International scholarships, except for research purpose.
- International grants, except for research purpose.
- Presence of Miguel Hernández University in international forums.
- Planning and implementation of international programmes, by itself or in coordination with other organs of the University Miguel Hernández.
- Student exchange programmes, at national and international level.
- To authorize expenses and order payments within the scope of their duties.
- Signature, on behalf of Miguel Hernández University of contracts and agreements at international level.
- The coordination of development cooperation and voluntary service.
- Institutional representation of Miguel Hernández University in development cooperation forums.
- Cooperation programes of the Spanish “Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional”.
- Projects of development cooperation actions.
